Cirque Cabaret will be back with more chances to see the show!
Thank you ALL for coming to Cirque Cabaret: a UVCC benefit show!
This was a VERY special night and whether you are a UVCC veteran or new to our programs you got a real treat. World class artists combined with local farm fresh food in your community theatre, all to benefit youth programs...it doesn't get any better than that!
I am truly humbled and eternally grateful for the opportunity to not only grow UVCC but to in turn help support and grow the artists on stage this weekend. These amazing performers make a living not only teaching the next generation of artists but by also creating and touring with their own shows and other companies around the United States and beyond. Watching so many of them grow and evolve from first time coaches to touring professionals has been a highlight of my UVCC journey. I am thrilled to be a small part in their stories and help them share their incredible gifts with all of you.
I appreciate each and every one of you for coming out to help preserve and sustain a very important youth program in the Upper Valley. I understand it is a little different and a little unique, but that is what makes it so special. I have seen the impact this program has on children (my own included), how it gives kids who may be a little different and a little unique, a chance to be celebrated. It gives them an opportunity to shine in an arena where it’s okay to be different and unique. It allows them to face their fears in a safe environment and work as a team to build something they are truly proud of at the end of the day. These programs have lasting positive effects that stick with kids for their whole lives and create a solid base with which to build on.
Upper Valley Circus Collective began out of a love of circus, both mine and my children, but continues to grow because of the roots we have planted, not only with love but acceptance, inclusion, support and respect for every member of our UVCC family, old and new. Through all the many twists and turns, hurdles, walls and winding roads, it has now bloomed into so much more than a two week summer camp...and I hope it continues for many, many years to come.
So, with sincere gratitude and a humble heart I thank you all for supporting my passion and showing up, for the artists, for the kids and for me. It truly does take a village! I am elated you have chosen to spend the evening with us and I hope you enjoy your night at the Cabaret!
See ya down the road...Meg
